Registering a song with Tracklib is the first step towards acquiring a sample license. You are not required to get a license when you register a song - but your new song is for private use only and cannot be distributed, available online or monetized until you have a sample license from Tracklib.

Your temporary song (or beat) title. This can be changed up until a purchased license is activated, so don't worry if you haven't figured out a good name yet.

Which song did you sample?

Pick the original song you have first purchased and then sampled from. We only allow our users to register new songs for tracks they own, to make sure they sample the correct version of the song.

How much of the original song did you sample?

Depending on how much of the original song you used, select one of the three lengths here. You can't sample more than 60 seconds.

Remember that it's the time used from the original – we don't measure how much you've used the sample in your new song. You can loop the same five seconds throughout your new song without it counting for more than five seconds. The sample length is also cumulative – it doesn’t have to be a continuous piece. So sample, for example, the intro, the break and some other part – as long as the total time of all your samples does not exceed the sample length chosen here.

Depending on the sample length, once you acquire and activate a license for this song, you need to share a different percentage of the song's revenue with original rightsholders and Tracklib.
