With the launch of Sounds, we have amped up our credit system. A song now costs 5 credits and a sound costs 1 credit to download. Because of this, your accumulated credits, and the number of credits you'll receive every month going forward, have been increased.

When you subscribe to Tracklib, you get a set amount of credits every month that you can use to download tracks from our catalog.

You can download the same track or section from it as many times as you want without spending any further credits.

You need to be on a free trial or paid subscription in order to be able to use your credits - it isn't possible to use credits after your subscription has ended

Do I use credits even if I download just 2 or 4 bars of a track?

Yes, the cost of downloading a song is the same, irrespective of if you download a loop from it or the entire track? But remember, you can download the same track or section from it as many times as you want without spending any further credits.. 

What happens to credits that I don't use?

As long as you are on a paid plan, any unused credits roll over to the next month. However, it isn't possible to use credits without being on a paid plan.

What happens to my credits if I cancel my subscription?

When you cancel your subscription, you can continue to use your credits until the next scheduled renewal date, if it hasn't already past. After your subscription ends, you aren't able to use any credits. If you resubscribe, they become available for use again. 

If you want to take a break from Tracklib, you can also pause your subscription for up to 2 months.

I need more credits, what do I do? 

If you need more credits, there's a few options that will allow you to keep digging for that perfect sample.

• If you're still on your free trial, you can go to the Plan & Payment section of your Settings page and click 'Start Plan' to instantly start your paid plan and get your first month's credits.
• If you are on the Lite or Premium plan, you can upgrade your plan to get more credits every month.
• You can purchase a credit pack. Just click the credits icon in the top right corner of our site and select the credit pack you would like to purchase, proceed through payment and you're good to go!
• If you know anyone who might be interested in joining Tracklib, you can invite a friend or fellow creator, and you'll receive 250 credits when they start a paid plan. You can read more about our referral system here.
