What Sounds are available?

As always with Tracklib, we prioritise quality over quantity. We don't have the most sounds, but we do have the right ones. We have sample packs from some of the best beat makers around, with credits including Drake, J. Cole, Madlib, The Alchemist and many more. We're also adding more Sounds all the time.

What's the difference between Sounds and Songs?

Sounds are royalty-free and ready to be used commercially. This means that as long as you download them through our service, you’re free to use them in all of your tracks. You do not have to clear these samples before releasing or share revenue with the creators of Sounds.

Songs require a license to use and are royalty-bearing. This means you need to register your songs that sample a song and follow the steps to get a license and then report and pay the agreed revenue share. But don’t worry, even though this is usually a huge and costly hassle outside of our service — by using Tracklib, you can clear all samples in a matter of minutes.

How do I get access to Sounds?

You download Sounds in the same way that you download Songs. We've changed the way our credit system works so a Song now costs 5 credits and a Sound costs 1 credit. But don't worry, all your existing credits and all our plans have been updated to reflect this change, so you won't lose out.
