The beatmaker on the Tracklib mobile app requires you to have selected both a song and a sound. If you can't get it to work, make sure you have selected both before trying to edit the audio or pressing play.

Remember you can always mute the song or sound channel entirely if you just want to work or play back 1 track at a time.
