Tracklib supports automatic digital revenue payment with specific distributors; they are our preferred distributors.
We recommend that you use one of our preferred distributors and set up payment splits, that way your streaming and download revenue is automatically reported and paid to us and you only need to account to us manually if your song has any other revenue than from digital streaming.
General instructions for setting up splits with all preferred distributors
- Add royalty@tracklib.com with the percentage of revenue that you need to share according to the sample license.
- If you get to name your split, please refer to the title of your song or it's ISRC or your artist name. (And not for example the original rightsholders name as that's not a unique identifier for us.)
- Please note that you need to add us per track, and not to a whole release. If you don't find where to do this, please consult the distributors support pages.
- If you're still not clear on what to do, you can always reach out to us and we'll help.
- Make sure that you enter the ISRC and distributor and finalize the sample license with Tracklib. You should not wait for your splits to be accepted.
- Once Tracklib accepts your splits invitation, all digital revenues will be accounted for directly, and you will not have to do anything, unless you have a synchronization or physical release. You can confirm that your splits have been accepted by checking the dollar icon next to your song here.

FAQ
Why do I need to add you per track, even if I have a sample on every track on my new release?
You need to add us per track as in order for us to be able to correctly identify which song(s) the payment split is for.
I have more than one sample in my song, how do I properly set up a payment split?
You need to add the revenue shares for the different samples together and add us to the splits for your song with the total percentage. Say you have one sample for which you need to share 10% and one song for which you need to share 2%, you would then add Tracklib with a 12% split.
My distributor is not in this list, but they offer payment splits - can I just set one up?
We add more preferred distributors over time but their accounting process must be compatible with ours, so while your distributor may offer payment splits, we may not be able to accept them. Please contact support before setting up splits through a distributor that's not on this list.
